Are you looking for a 228mm clutch pressure plate for your Bus or Vanagon? We've got your bases covered with two performance options to suit your driving needs. Read on!
Fits:
• 1976-79 Type II Bus
• 1980-91 Vanagon (2WD and 4WD) Does NOT fit diesel Vanagon.
Option #1 - Standard Sachs pressure plate: We recommended this option for general use; mostly freeway driving, but not a lot of stop-and-go traffic or hilly terrain. Want this in a complete clutch kit? .
Option #2 - Heavy-Duty "Phase Two" pressure plate: This is a Kennedy Engineering (KEP) heavy-duty pressure plate. The pedal feel requires about 20% more force. Highly recommended for vehicles that see off-road driving (especially in deep sand), and vehicles running higher output engines. Want this in a complete clutch kit? .
